July 30^th, 31^st & August 1^st – Herb Festival

Cheese and Chive Crisps
1 cup butter, softened
½ tsp Salt
3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
½ tsp Hot pepper sauce
2 cups all-purpose flour
¼ tsp garlic power
¼ cup chopped fresh chives
2 cups Rice Crisp cereal

1. In a large bowl, mix butter and cheese.  Stir in flour, chives, salt, hot pepper sauce and garlic power until thoroughly mixed.  Stir in cereal divide mixture into 4 parts, roll into 6” logs. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm (1 hour).

2. Preheat oven to 325 degrees, unwrap logs and slice into ¼” rounds.  Place on ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake 20-25 minutes.
